Part of the MAF liquid cool AC Asynchronous servo motors, the MAF180D-0200-FQ-M0-FG0-35-R1 is a 400 Nm servo motor that has a power rating of 83.8 kW. This servo motor is designed to draw approximately 168.5 Amperes of current from the supply to operate at a nominal condition without derating. The rated speed of this motor on normal duty mode is 2000 rotations per minute but can be increased to 6000 rotations per minute on heavy duty mode. The derating speed of this motor when not operated under normal conditions is 1500 rotations per minute.

To keep the motor's temperature under control, the MAF180D-0200-FQ-M0-FG0-35-R1 comes with liquid cooling to help the motor release 2.5 kW of heat to allow the motor to maintain its temperature according to its temperature rating. Speaking of temperature rating, this servo motor has a temperature rating of 0 degrees Celsius to 45 degrees Celsius and a humidity range between 5% to 95% so that this motor can be operated in a highly humid environment and still provide high performance.

To control the motor shaft with more accuracy, this Asynchronous AC servo motor features a multitude of absolute encoder that has a resolution of 512 steps per revolution. This means each rotation is divided into 512 pieces or steps, helping increase precision. The encoder is also capable of counting the number of turns the motor takes. The encoder utilizes EnDat2.1 digital communication protocol, which helps with efficient data communication and secure data transfer with an error detection feature. The encoder also comes with an onboard memory to help store data and to store current and last known positions.
