Product Description:
This liquid cooled servo motor is part of the IndraDyn AC Servo motor series from Rexroth Indramat. The 180D series of motors are particularly designed for providing a high rotational torque output as this motor is capable of generating torque at 435 Nm under normal load and conditions but can also generate all the way up to 1013 Nm of torque for a brief period when the motor achieves its high speed of 6000 rotations per minute. The normal rated speed of this motor is approximately 1500 rotations per minute while the derating speed is set to 1000 rotations per minute.
This motor does not come with a blocking brake but it does feature a 2048 resolution single turn encoder that uses the EnDat 2.1 digital encoder protocol for communication. This digital communication protocol features all the latest error and security checks to ensure smooth data communication between the control module and the connected servo drives for a seamless experience. Even in the case of an error, the motor is capable enough to identify and generate an error code for the operator to debug easily.
This motor is designed for a variety of regions as it has a temperature rating between 0 to 45 degrees Celsius and can be stored in an environment with an ambient temperature between -10 to 80 degrees Celsius. The motor has a humidity rating between 5 to 95%. It also has an IP 65 protection rating which protects the motor against dust and water; however, it does not come with a shaft seal. The power connections of this motor are placed on the top allowing for easy access to the power ports.
