The MAF180D-0150-FQ-S2-EH0-35-N1 is a liquid-cooled asynchronous motor developed by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MAF IndraDyn Asynchronous Motors series. As an induction unit, it converts inverter output into rotary motion for pumps, extruders, and similar continuous-duty stations where thermal load is high. The product is delivered without a holding brake, uses a plain shaft for direct coupling to driven machinery, and has a turnable terminal box on the A-side for power wiring so cabinet layout can be optimized. The turnable terminal box also helps route incoming cables without forcing a single entry direction.

The stator jacket is traversed by coolant, and the motor uses Liquid cooling. This removes heat at the frame rather than relying on airflow. Supply and return lines fasten to a threaded port sized at 1/2 inch, simplifying connection to closed-loop chillers. Position feedback is generated by an EnDat2.1 interface, allowing digital transmission of absolute angle data to the drive controller. Inside the encoder, the optical disk delivers 2048 increments per revolution, and its electronics accept a regulated feed of 7 to 12 V. These values set the encoder resolution, wiring requirements, and permissible voltage drop for the feedback circuit.
