The Bosch Rexroth MAF160C-0200-FQ-M2-EF0-05-A1 induction motor is a component of the MAF Induction Motor Series that is specially developed for heavy-duty industrial automation applications. This motor is designed with state-of-the-art technology together with performance characteristics that are desirable in applications such as CNC machines, packaging systems, and robotics.
This model is equipped with a liquid cooling system which enhances the heat dissipation and management that is imperative for systems that operate continuously. The motor uses a multiturn absolute encoder of the EnDat 2. 1 protocol that gives high-resolution feedback with 2048 levels which is very useful in applications that require precise movement. The shaft design adopts a surface treatment with a labyrinth seal to offer protection against possible contamination and to ensure the efficient working of the motor throughout its time of use. These include stability and load carrying capacity of A side motor fixed bearing that supports heavy loads while keeping the bearing aligned. The motor is rated for a power output of 200 Nm of torque, this makes this motor ideal for high torque operations. For mounting, the motor is usually designed to be mounted on a standard flange which enhances the flexibility of the motor to be used in different industrial systems. It is designed to work with 400V AC> power systems, which are commonly used in industrial applications, thus making it easy to plug into existing systems.
