The MAF160C-0200-FQ-C0-EK0-35-A1 asynchronous motor is built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the MAF IndraDyn Asynchronous Motors series. It is a liquid-cooled housing motor intended for continuous duty in industrial automation lines where thermal stability and compact installation spaces are needed. As a flange- and foot-mountable drive element, it supplies rotary motion to conveyors, extruders, or test stands while remaining compliant with DIN EN 60034-14 vibration guidelines. An A-side fixed bearing supports radial and axial loads and keeps the rotor positioned accurately during dynamic operating changes.
Its cooling circuit relies on liquid cooling, fed through a 1/2 inch connection thread that mates with the machine manifold. A rotatable terminal box on the A-side houses the power leads, and the 0200 winding set is arranged for low loss at the rated frequency. An incremental encoder provides feedback, and its optical disc outputs 2048 increments at an encoder supply of 5 V, allowing mid-range resolution for speed control. The encoder feedback supports closed-loop regulation and helps the connected drive respond accurately to changing load conditions. Mechanical fastening is achieved through flange and foot mounting, while the 160C frame indicates the stator length and diameter envelope. The motor is insulated to class F, uses a keyway shaft with a sealing ring to help keep coolant mist out, and omits a holding brake to reduce inertia.
