Product Description:

The Rexroth MAF160B-0200-FQ-M2-EK0-05-A1 AC Servo Motor is extremely well-crafted, sturdy and purposeful and is meant to be used in industrial applications where high torque and accuracy are paramount. It possesses a power rating of 50.3KW, speed rating of 2000rpm and torque rating of 240Nm. These strong activities are rated 108.5 Amperes at current and 250Nm of constant torque at standstill. The motor can even drive large loads at 550Nm maximum torque and 1500rpm derating speed.

In terms of dynamic capacity, the motor features a stationary continuous current of 112.3 Amperes and a torque constant of 2.4 Nm/A at 20O C. For optimal and efficient operation, the motor has been designed such that a power line of at least 35 mm_ cross-section must be used. A reinforced electrically released brake system with commanding static torque of 240 Nm is fitted on the MAF160B. This brake has a rated current of 1.87 Amps and is used at a connecting DC 24V ~10%. It comes with a tolerance in the maximum braking energy of up to 70,000 Ws and has a moment of inertia of 0.0188 k g m 2.

The brake is effective for such applications since it takes only 30 ms to engage and 300 ms to disengage. Another advantage of the reinforced braking system's weight of 25 kg is that it enhances the strength and reliability of the system. To maintain safety at all times, all power to the electrical equipment should be disconnected whenever it is being maintained, repaired or there is going to be a long period when the equipment is switched off. On controlling the interference of such heavy-duty equipment, one should be cautious to avoid high-frequency electromagnetic interference failures. If you have metal implants, hearing aids, or pacemakers, you have to be more careful.
