The MAF130D-0200-FR-C0-LH0-05-N1 from Rexroth Bosch Electric is an Asynchronous AC servo motor, designed to be operated in demanding industrial environments. This motor has an IP 65 protection rating which is great for dusty environments, and scratches of up to 0.2 mm deep, and also provides protection against water jets for up to 2 minutes. The motor can also operate in an environment with an ambient temperature of up to 40 degrees Celsius.
One of the special features of this motor is that it is liquid cooled and can help dissipate approximately 3.3 kW of heat. The liquid at the inlet should always have a temperature between 0 degrees Celsius to 40 degrees Celsius. Users can also use various types of liquids, but they should be approved by the manufacturer and compatible with the motor's design. The coolant flow required to help cool down this motor is approximately 4.5 liters per minute, while using different types of coolants other than water may change this value.
