The MAF130D-0100-FQ-S2-BH0-05-A1 asynchronous housing motor is built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the MAF IndraDyn Asynchronous Motors series. It serves as a drive source in industrial automation, supplying controlled induction torque to material-handling equipment, machining centers, and packaging lines. Its sealed enclosure allows the motor to be installed inside machine frames where direct mechanical power must be delivered without external gearboxes. This layout also supports compact machine designs in which the motor must fit close to the driven mechanism while remaining protected from surrounding contaminants.

A rated speed of 1000 rpm establishes the nominal shaft velocity for process control. Heat is removed through liquid cooling, routed through a 1/4-inch connection port, so the housing maintains stable thermal conditions under sustained load. The IP65 enclosure blocks dust and low-pressure water jets. Rotor position feedback is supplied by a single-turn absolute encoder with 2048 increments of resolution, and communication takes place through the EnDat2.1 digital interface for closed-loop regulation. Mechanical support is handled by an A-side fixed bearing, and electrical power reaches the stator through a connector on side B. This combination supports accurate speed regulation and stable operation when the driven load changes during normal machine cycles.

The encoder is supplied with 7–12 V. A frame size of 130 and flange mounting simplify alignment to gearless load couplings, and the plain shaft is delivered without a shaft sealing ring to reduce friction at low speeds. Class F insulation supports higher winding temperatures and complies with vibration level A limits in DIN EN 60034-14. The motor is supplied without a holding brake, so motion retention must be provided by the drive or by external mechanics. Operation is permitted between 0 °C and 40 °C ambient.
