The MAF100C-0250-FR-S6-HK0-05-N1 asynchronous motor is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the MAF IndraDyn Asynchronous Motors series. It is a liquid-cooled housing motor intended for speed-controlled drives in automated machinery, where three-phase electrical energy is converted into mechanical torque for conveyors, processing spindles, or indexing tables. A flange-mounted body lets the unit bolt directly to gearboxes or frames, and the design removes waste heat through coolant rather than ambient airflow, keeping dimensions compact.

The motor can run at up to 2500 rpm, a rotational speed associated with winding code 0250 and suited to the 100-frame, length-C housing. Heat is removed by liquid cooling that enters the motor through an enclosed rapid-action coupling, and this hydraulic interface helps prevent leaks during line changes. The winding set is sealed to IP65, so airborne dust or directed water cannot reach live parts. A single-turn absolute encoder sends position data through the EnDat2.1 digital interface, and its optical scale provides 2048 increments per revolution to support fine velocity loops.
