The MAF100C-0150-FQ-S2-AH0-05-A1 is designed by Bosch Rexroth. The motors of MAF series have squirrel cage rotors and a liquid cooling unit. These motors can be customized to meet the demands of different equipment and machinery because they come in a wide range of sizes. One benefit of induction motors with squirrel cages is their dependability and simplicity. They are relatively simple to manage and offer several starting options. Its rotor bars are always short-circuited at both ends to prevent the induction of external resistance.

The (MAF100C-0150-FQ-S2-AH0-05-A1) motor runs at alternating current with the help of squirrel cage rotor. The single-turn encoder is used to know the axis' position at any time. When turned on, it displays an angular position immediately and continually outputs a signal that reflects the actual location of the shaft to which it's attached. To enable a smooth motion, rolling components (balls), are positioned between the outer and inner rings in a bearing. By shifting back and forth between rings, these rolling parts can lower the friction between the surfaces that contact and facilitate smooth rotation of the shaft.

The cooling port is connected to motor through the connecting threads. Water is used as a coolant in water cooling systems to dissipate heat produced by motors. In applications with high power consumption where air cooling might not be sufficient, this technique offers effective cooling performance. For water cooling systems to maintain the quality and flow of the coolant, appropriate plumbing and routine maintenance are necessary. Two KTY84-130 PTC temperature sensors are permanently attached to the winding of the IndraDyn A motor. To utilize the sensor for external temperature measurement, ensure proper polarity while connecting it.
