The MAF100C-0100-FR-S2-AH0-05-H4 is a liquid-cooled asynchronous housing motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and delivered within the MAF IndraDyn Asynchronous Motors series. It converts three-phase electrical energy into rotational torque for axes that cycle continuously in factory automation lines, test stands, and similar systems that need stable motor output over long operating periods. The motor is delivered without a holding brake, so external holding torque is required when the axis must remain fixed at standstill.

This motor develops its nominal output at a rated speed of 1000 rpm, allowing slow, high-torque operation in conveyors or spindle positioning tasks. Heat is removed by liquid cooling, which stabilizes winding temperature without external fans. Rotor position feedback is generated by an encoder that communicates over the EnDat2.1 interface. Its single-turn feedback disk provides 2048 increments per revolution, so the connected drive can resolve angular error to fractions of a degree. The stator and terminals are sealed to IP65, which helps protect the motor from dust and low-pressure water jets on exposed machine frames.

The motor uses high-speed bearings, which help reduce friction losses during rapid acceleration and sustained operation. Coolant enters and leaves through an enclosed rapid-action coupling sized at 1/4 inch, which simplifies hose connection in compact machine layouts. The encoder electronics accept a supply range of 7–12 V, so the feedback system can be powered directly by many compatible drive controllers. The motor uses flange mounting for mechanical attachment. It also has insulation class F windings, an ambient operating range of 0 °C to 40 °C, vibration severity grade C, and a plain shaft without a sealing ring to help minimize radial runout.
