The MAF100B-0200-FQ-S2-BH0-05-H4 is a liquid-cooled asynchronous housing motor manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MAF IndraDyn Asynchronous Motors series. It is installed as the prime mover in automated presses, extruders, or test stands where continuous torque delivery and compact dimensions are required. Its cooling circuit removes stator heat without relying on ambient airflow, which supports sealed cabinet layouts common in industrial automation.

This B-length, size-100 frame uses liquid cooling through a threaded connection, and the circuit mates to a 1/4 inch port so standard flexible hoses can be fitted. Coolant flow maintains winding temperature within Class F insulation limits. A flange mounting interface positions the power connector on the B-side, which helps simplify cable runs when the motor is installed against a bulkhead. The three-phase stator is energized through a sealed connector, while a plain shaft transmits torque directly to the load; no shaft sealing ring is fitted, so external protection is needed in splash zones. For feedback, a single-turn absolute encoder with an EnDat 2.1 interface reports position in 2048 increments and operates from a stable 7–12 V supply. The assembly does not include a holding brake, and vibration performance corresponds to level C.

During operation, the housing has an IP65 rating, which supports use in washdown areas often found in food or chemical plants. The rotor is balanced for high-speed operation, and the nominal mechanical output is reached at 2000 rpm, which matches standard frequency inverters from the IndraDrive platform. Continuous service is rated for ambient air between 0–40 °C, and outside this range the insulation margin narrows.
