The MAD225C-0150-SA-S2-KH0-05-N1 asynchronous servo motor delivers massive rotational force for the most demanding industrial applications. Rated for an impressive 1450 Nm of peak torque output, it can exert powerful mechanical force many times greater than smaller motors. At the same time, it maintains a high rated torque of 593 Nm continuously to move and position very heavy payloads.
Generating 93.1 kW of power from its 190.7 kW maximum capacity, the motor windings are rated to operate on currents up to 376 amps. Inside the extra-large frame resides a specially wound stator and rotor assembly constructed from high-grade copper and steel. This electromagnetic design maximizes torque production through the motor's operating speed range from zero to its rated speed. Positioning accuracy is ensured by an absolute single-turn encoder built into the end shield. It provides precise angular feedback with high resolution to allow closed-loop control of the rotor position. Settings like acceleration and deceleration rates can be tuned for different loads. An integrated fault detection system constantly monitors motor operation for irregularities.
Weighing in at a robust 610 kg including baseplate and shaft, the motor provides massive rotational inertia for smoothly starting and braking very heavy moving systems.
