The MAD180D-0200-SA-S2-EL2-35-N1 motor is part of the IndraDyn A series of asynchronous motors. MAD series of motors are high performance air-cooled motors suited for use in servo and main spindle applications where high speeds and accuracy are required such as printing presses and machine tools. This model features a frame of size 180 with a frame length of D. It has a mounted axial fan for air cooling of the motor which makes it efficient even with extreme loads in continuous high frequency applications. The motor is also protected against damage from soluble oils, dust and other contaminants with an IP 65 protection class rating. This means it can be safely operated in adverse industrial setups where the operating environment is poor.
The motor is rated for a torque of 300 Nm. It has a current rating of 117.4 A and a power rating of 62.80 kW. The nominal speed rating for this unit is 2,000, with maximum achievable speeds of up to 6,000. The maximum torque is rated at 768.2 Nm while the maximum current rating is 269.7 A. This motor is equipped with a low-noise running standard bearing. The motor is designed to be low maintenance and is ideal for applications with continuous operation since it can be maintained during operation.
The motors flange and foot mounting style allows easy installation in different setups and machine conditions. It comes equipped with for electrical connection to the unit. For rotor position and speed monitoring, the motor is equipped with a Single-turn absolute encoder, 2048 increments.
