The MAD180C-Y070-SA-S2-HH0-35-V1 is a MAD/MAF series induction motor introduced by the Bosch company. The construction is foot and flange assembly based where IMB3 is for foot and IM B5 is for flange assembly setup. On continuous operations, motors usually heat up and that is the critical issue inside motors that are catered by this machine using the axial fan blowing method. The motor is equipped with two PTC KTY84-130 temperature sensors to monitor and analyze temperature patterns inside the motor.
It helps in controlling and protecting the motor in case of overload temperatures. The MAD180C-Y070-SA-S2-HH0-35-V1 is equipped with an encoder for feedback and the encoder type is a single-turn absolute encoder with 2048 increments. The output shaft has no sealing ring and consists of a plain shaft. The specific variant has no holding brakes, and the bearings installed in this asynchronous motor are reinforced bearings. The air medium voltage of the axial fan in the blowing configuration is 1500 m3/h. It can be operating by 3 phase AC supply of either 400 V or 480 V.
