MAD180C-0150-SA-S2-EQ2-35-N1 is part of motor generation Indra Dyn A of the Bosch group it represents state of the art asynchronous box motors with squirrel-cage rotor, the MAD series utilizes surface ventilation by a separately connected fan unit. These motors can be used as main or servo drives for all kinds of rotary operations. Typical applications of these motors can be found in machine tools, printing & paper processing machines, packaging & food stuff machines, metal forming machines. The IP 65 rating makes it possible to allow for operation in adverse conditions. The unit is manufactured in such a way that allows for easy service and repair work. Ambient temperature in operation is 0 to +40 degree Celsius.
Weighing in at 334 kgs it comprises of a flange & foot mounting. These new type series of air-cooled asynchronous housing motors have an axial fan flowing system, a single turn absolute encoder EnDat2.1 with 2048 increments.
