Product Description:

The MAD160C-0200-SA-S2-AP0-35-N1 from Rexroth is a servo motor that can be mounted using the foot mounting method for applications where the motor is used with timing belts or pulley systems as the foot mounting can provide a good grip on a solid stable base allowing the servo motor to provide a balanced and efficient system design. The MAD160C-0200-SA-S2-AP0-35-N1 can also be mounted using the flange mount system perfect for industrial plants where most of the mounting is done using a flange of compatible sizes and is perfect for high-speed applications or applications that require torque transmission.

The torque rating of this servo motor is 210 Nm which is the rated torque or the nominal torque as the MAD160 and upwards series of servo motors in the MAD series is capable of providing high torque outputs along with a high rotational speed rating. The minimal speed rating of this servo motor is 2000 rpm while the maximum speed using standard bearing design is 6000 rpm. At the locked rotor or standstill mode this servo can generate a torque of 225 Nm while drawing a standstill current of 100 amperes. Since this motor draws a lot of current from the supply module, the recommended wire size for this servo motor is 25 mm².

The AP0 configuration of this servo motor allows the motor to have the power connector placed on the front end of the servo motor while the shaft design for this motor is a plain shaft with a shaft seal ring to keep the motor protected from the front and to prevent oil or any other lubricants from spilling outside. This servo motor does not come with a shaft-holding brake module.
