Product Description

The MAD160C-0200-SA-S2-AH0-05-H1 is an asynchronous servomotor with an EX px d design in the MAD series of motors from Bosch Rexroth. The motor is intended for commission only in environments with explosion hazards. The device must be operated only along with the IndraDrive series of connection cables and the manufacturer’s drive control devices. The housing features a black 2K epoxy resin coating. It should be protected against corrosive and aggressive agents such as salt mists, coolants, cutting oils or lubricants. The coating is based on epoxy-polyamide resin in water. The motor is available with a one-year warranty period.

The servomotor is CE Certified and cUL Recognized. The device must be cooled using forced ventilation during operation for ATEX atmospheres. It supports B05 flange assembly with M16 type screws and through 18mm mounting holes. The unit must be grounded over a grounding wire and the motor cable. The power connection is provided in the form of a terminal box that is located at the top of the motor. The motor must be connected using a set of standard tools. It has a frame size of 180. The device supports terminal type clamping mode. The output direction of the fan cowl can be to the left, right, top or bottom.

The motor has a purging time of 60 seconds. The device takes up to 140 minutes to cool down completely after it is switched off. The unit must be disconnected in a non-explosive atmosphere and in the de-energized state. The air circulation and functioning of the fan must be checked after every 1,000 hours of operation. The motor must not be overcoated as it can adversely affect the surface properties like electrostatic charge and insulation resistance.
