The MAD160C-0150-SA-S2-AQ0-35-V1 from Rexroth is a MAD160C Asynchronous Servo motor capable of producing speeds of up to 6000 rotations per minute. This motor has a quiet design as it has a noise level rating of 75 dB from up to a 1-meter distance. This motor has 3 poles or coils present inside the stator of the motor to help excite the rotor through magnetic induction. These poles or coils can be excited with voltages of varying frequencies to help regulate the speed of the motor.
The MAD160C-0150-SA-S2-AQ0-35-V1 uses a fan cooling method. This fan is an axial blower that operates on 230 Volts AC at 50 to 60 Hz frequency and helps keep the internal temperature of the motor regulated as this helps the motor run in optimum conditions. Keeping the motor cool is very important as it provides a much better performance and experience. Hence an ambient temperature of 0 degrees Celsius to 40 degrees Celsius must be regulated in the area this motor is installed in. The motor has a rugged design as it is IP 65 protected, protecting against dust and water particles.
