Product Description:
Indramat Rexroth introduced MAD and MAF series asynchronous motors where MAD is based on an air-cooled method of cooling and MAF is a series of liquid-cooled asynchronous housing motors. The mechanical power output of the motor MAD160C-0150-SA-M2-AP1-05-N1 while running at the rated speed of 1500 rpm and rated torque of 215 Nm is 33.8 kW. To minimize the heating impact inside the motor while running, an axial fan blower is used. The additional axial fan consumes a current of 0.12 A and power consumption varies from 83 VA to 100 VA.
The air current direction of the axial blower is B to A with 230 m3/h medium air voltage. The machine consists of 4 poles (2 pole pairs) which it is generated by the motor's stator windings. The motor has 2 each north and south poles on the rotor. The bearings of the MAD160C-0150-SA-M2-AP1-05-N1 are standard and are responsible for the maximum speed limitation. At 20 C, the torque constant is 3.36 Nm/A, and the thermal time constant of the asynchronous motor is 70 minutes. In the S6 mode of operation, the duty cycle time is 10 minutes, and the sound pressure level is 75 dB.
As per DIN ISO 2373, the MAD160C-0150-SA-M2-AP1-05-N1 has step R vibration severity grade. IndraDyn A motors have two designs that are 05 (flange mounting) and 35 (flange and foot installation. This specific MAD series asynchronous motor has the design of flange mounting. It has a key speed of 1000 rpm, and the rated current is 75.3 A. The maximum torque of the machine is 496 Nm with a maximum current of 152.6 A. Environmental conditions impact the motor's performance and for optimal operations, the machine must run at 0 - 40 degree centigrade.
