Product Description:

The MAD160C-0100-SA-M0-BG0-05-A1 is an induction motor in which the rotor’s speed does not align exactly with the stator’s magnetic field velocity. The rotor’s speed lags behind the magnetic field and, as a result, a “slip” appears, allowing the motor to generate the much-needed torque. Being an asynchronous motor, it is robust and has fewer components, which makes it reliable and low maintenance.
