Product Description:

The MAD160B-0200-SA-M0-BG0-05-R1 is a 33.5 Ampere current AC servo motor that can provide a torque of 160 Nm under normal conditions. This motor can also provide up to 375 Nm of torque at maximum speed, which is highly subject to the type of bearing being used. The motor supports standard and reinforced type bearings that can allow this motor to reach a speed of a whopping 6000 rotations per minute, which is perfect for torque transmission when rotating heavy loads such as high torque gearboxes in textile, packaging, and printing machines.

The motor is very demanding electrically hence a power cable of 25 mm² thickness is provided to help with the transmission of 33.5 Amperes of large current. Thick wires usually help with power dissipation, keeping it at a minimum to help prevent fires. Since this motor is heavy duty it weighs 194 kg which makes it non-portable and hence would require proper lifting machinery.

To keep the internals cool during continuous operations, the MAD160B-0200-SA-M0-BG0-05-R1 features an axial blower fan that sucks the air from the rear, passing them through the internals of the motor, especially the coil, and finally pushing it out the front. This blower fan has a voltage rating of 400 volts AC to 480 volts AC, 3-phase. It consumes a power of 132 VA to 175 VA and has a current rating of 0.19 to 0.21 amperes. It has a flow rate of 1000 m³ of air per hour which helps it cool down the motor at a tremendous speed. It is recommended by the manufacturer to install this motor in an environment with a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius to prevent overheating.
