With a speed rating of 1500 rpm at nominal conditions, the MAD160B-0150-SA-S2-AH0-35-R1 is a high rotational torque servo motor with a continuous torque rating of 185 Nm. With a rated power of 29.1 kW, this motor has a very powerful and efficient design as it can produce around 4.06 Nm of torque for every ampere of current that it consumes. The nominal current rating for this servo motor is 55.6 Amperes while at standstill mode, the current draw is 58.7 amperes with a standstill torque generation of 200 amperes. At the maximum speed of 6000 rotations per minute, the maximum rotational torque rating is around a whopping 440 Nm.
To keep the servo motor cool during high-speed operation, the MAD160B-0150-SA-S2-AH0-35-R1 comes with an axial blower fan that takes in air from the surrounding through the backside of the motor and pushes it through the internals of the motor cooling the coil and pushing the hot air outside from the front.
