Product Description:

Part of the MAD series of Servo motors that come with an axial blower fan system for cooling, the MAD160B-0050-SA-S2-FP0-05-V1 from Rexroth is a 160B series of motor with a winding designation of 0050 that has a winding resistance of 0.29 ohms which allows for high current to flow through the coil of the motor. To keep the motor coil under temperature, the MAD160B-0050-SA-S2-FP0-05-V1 features an AC blower fan that requires 460 to 480 volts AC to operate and can draw up to 0.95 Amperes of current from the compatible supply unit.

This servo motor comes with a feedback system that uses a high-resolution encoder. The encoder has a resolution of 2048 increments and requires 5 volts DC to function. For every step or increment detected, the motor encoder will generate a 5 volts square wave signal which is used as a feedback signal by the motor controller.
