Product Description:

The MAD100D-0050-SA-S2-FP0-35-N1 is a versatile option for a servo motor in terms of speed as it can offer a range of output speeds able to move with as low as 500 rpm and can rotate all the way up to a maximum speed of 9000 rpm. The motor can generate a torque force of 70 Nm at nominal when rotating at base speed. This motor is designed for slow and accurate rotations, much like the servos used in high-precision milling machines where slow and precise movements are necessary. The mounting of this servo motor is pretty easy as well since it supports both flange and foot-type mounting depending on the application.

The maximum speed this servo motor can offer is 3000 rpm at which it is able to produce a rotational torque of 154 Nm. The motor does not come with a locked rotor configuration which is crucial for robotics applications. When operating this servo motor, ensure to use a supply module that can provide an output voltage rating of 190 volts AC with a 3-phase output along with a pulsating frequency of 47 to 63 Hz. This servo motor features 3 pole pairs that induce the required magnetic fields needed to rotate the servo motor.

To track the position of the shaft, the MAD100D-0050-SA-S2-FP0-35-N1 comes with a single-turn encoder responsible for tracking the current position of the motor shaft and is required for performing the necessary positioning calculation using its feedback. The encoder generates short pulses of 5-volt square wave signals whenever an increment is detected. The encoder featured with this servo configuration is a single-turn encoder that comes with a high-resolution compared to its S1 counterpart. This encoder comes with 2048 increments while the S1 configuration comes with 512 increments. To power the encoder, a DC supply of 7 to 12 volts is required with a minimum current limit of 28 mA.
