Product Description:

The MAD130D-0200-SA-M0-AH0-05-R1 motor is made by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and it's part of their MAD IndraDyn A Motors line. This motor is what they call a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor or PMSM for short. It puts out 2.0 kW of power and gives you 12.7 Nm of torque when running at 1500 rpm. The thing runs on 220 V and pulls 9.2 A of current which is pretty normal for this size motor. You can use this motor for lots of different jobs where you need things to move accurately and not mess up your process.

The motor has a multi-turn absolute encoder built into it which is really handy because it always knows where it is. Even if the power cuts out, when it comes back on the encoder still remembers the position so you don't have to set everything up again. When you need extra power for tough loads or quick movements, this motor can push up to 38 Nm peak torque which is quite a bit more than the normal running torque. The encoder gives good feedback to your control system so positioning stays right where it should be. Most standard servo drives can work with this motor without much trouble, so connecting it up isn't usually a big problem.

For protection this motor has IP65 rating which means dust can't get in and you can spray water on it from any angle without hurting it. That's good if you work in dirty places or somewhere that gets washed down regular. The motor uses natural cooling so there's no fans or extra cooling stuff needed, it just uses the air around it to stay at the right temperature.
