It comes with a multiturn absolute encoder which is a type of sensor used to measure the precise position and rotation angle of the shaft of the motor. It can track the number of full rotations (turns) in addition to the position within a single rotation. It can count and record each turn up to a certain limit which allows it to provide absolute position data over multiple rotations. Furthermore, it can produce 2048 increments which means that the encoder can divide a single rotation into 2048 steps or positions in order to provide high resolution and precision. Each step represents 1/2048 of a full turn, allowing very fine measurements within each turn. It features a duty cycle time of 10 minutes and a discharge capacity of 30.5 nF.
