Product Description:

Rexroth Indramat's MAD130C-0100-SA-S2-KQ0-35-N1 is a MAD series asynchronous motor that has a forced air cooling unit. A key feature of an induction motor is that the torque is produced only via induction, as opposed to the rotor being self-magnetized in permanent magnet motors or being separately energized as in DC or synchronous machines. The rotor's magnetic field rotates at a faster rate when its speed falls below synchronous speed, which increases the torque and current flowing through the windings. The variation, or "slip," between synchronous and actual speed ranges from approximately 0.5 to 5.0 percent.

The MAD130C-0100-SA-S2-KQ0-35-N1 induction motor tracks the revolution with the help of an absolute encoder that can measure 2048 increments or positions per rotation. An encoder disk that rotates continuously provides a unique binary code for every configuration. The single-turn encoder's code is responsible for determining the rotor's complete position information. Axial flow fan functions as its name implies, drawing air in and pushing it forward along its axis. The resulting airflow would not be susceptible to centrifugal force. Airflow is regulated and smoothed by stator vanes, also known as guides, which increase efficiency. Put simply, an axial-flow fan generates more flow at a lower pressure gain.

The fundamental role of a motor terminal block is to guarantee that electrical power is safely and efficiently transmitted from the power input source to the asynchronous motor. This is accomplished through a sequence of connectors within the box, each precisely designed to ensure efficient power supply and minimal loss. In addition to its protective function, the motor terminal box also shields the electronics and motor from possible electrical connection problems.
