Bosch Rexroth’s MAD motors are a class of asynchronous motors with high continuous ratings in its IndraDyn A motor series. They have an easy-to-service structure and compact build with varying speeds and torques to suit application-specific uses.
The MAD130C-0100-SA-S2-DL0-05-N1 is an air-cooled induction motor in the MAD series manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It has a mounted axial fan that generates cooling air currents, which are guided over the motor’s surface by air baffles. Its two sensitive PTC thermal sensors monitor its temperature, preventing permanent damage due to thermal overload by triggering protective mechanisms at threshold temperatures. The motor’s coat is a black varnish that protects it from the potentially damaging effects of diluted acids, lyes, water, sewage, and current mineral oils.
