The MAD130C-0100-SA-M2-AG1-05-N1 from Bosch Electric is a 125 Nm AC Asynchronous Servo motor. This motor is a high torque high-speed motor that is great for various applications, whether it be for drilling, CNC routing, packaging machines, or robotics. This motor has a rated speed of 1000 rotations per minute, but with the help of its reinforced bearings, it can attain a maximum speed of 7500 rotations per minute. At maximum speed, this motor has a torque rating of 308 Nm.
With the help of the M2 configuration of the MAD130C-0100-SA-M2-AG1-05-N1 encoder, this motor encoder is capable of counting the rotation angles as well as multiple rotations the motor can perform. The encoder has an increment resolution of 2048 steps and uses an EnDat 2.1 digital encoder interface to communicate with the motor controller. This digital encoder is capable of communicating with the motor controller serially and also detects error codes for smoother operation. The encoder also features a memory chip to help it store data in the case of power loss, allowing for the restoration of the motor's position.
