The MAD130B-0200-SA-M2-AH1-35-R1 from Rexroth is an AC-powered high-torque servo motor that has a torque rating of 80 Nm at rated conditions with a nominal speed rating of 2000 rpm. This motor is designed to provide a maximum speed of 7500 rpm thanks to the inclusion of high-speed standard bearings that offer a self-lubrication feature to keep the bearings smooth and frictionless, allowing the servo motor to rotate at higher speeds with minimal power losses.
With the multiturn absolute encoder on this servo motor, the MAD130B-0200-SA-M2-AH1-35-R1 can track the shaft position easily with a high-resolution count of up to 2048 steps. The encoder allows the shaft to rotate up to 4096 times and has a resolution of 2048 steps for each revolution that it performs in order to increase the precision rate and provide accurate results. To operate this encoder, the multiturn encoder requires a supply voltage of 5 volts to function and can draw up to 28 mA of current from the DC power supply. The way the encoder works is that whenever it detects an increment, the encoder will generate a 5-volt pulse that will be sent to the motor control unit as feedback, which will allow it to calculate the current position of the motor shaft and the required increments for moving the shaft to the desired position.
To make sure this servo motor does not get wet or affected by other environmental factors such as dust particles and humidity, the MAD130B-0200-SA-M2-AH1-35-R1 comes with an IP 65 protection rating that keeps the motor protected against low levels of water pressure and also provides protection against dust particles that may be 2 mm in size.
