MAD series motors by Bosch Rexroth are compact motors suited for use as main or servo drives in rotary drive tasks. The MAD130B-0150-SA-S2-HH0-05-N1 model has a frame size of 130 and a frame length of B. To ensure a high load capacity and reliability, the motor is equipped with an axial cooling fan for surface ventilation. The motor supplies high continuous performance since the fan maintains optimal operating temperature by facilitating efficient dissipation of heat. The motor is also thermally protected by temperature sensors integrated into the housing of the motor to prevent overload damage. Built with versatility in mind, the compact design of the motor features IP 65 protection against moisture and dust permitting use in all types of conditions.
The motor is equipped for precise motion control with a single-turn absolute encoder with EnDat2.1 interface for rotor position and speed monitoring. The high-resolution motor feedback ensures that the motor has excellent smooth running operation. The motor has a plain output shaft without a sealing ring. The plain output shaft is suited for backlash-free and non-positive transmission of torque. The motor does not come equipped with a holding brake. It has a standard bearing ideal for high speeds and a long service life.
To facilitate installation the motor is fitted for flange mounting. It also comes with electrical connectors for power cables on Side B of the motor. The motor is rated for a torque of 85.0 Nm and a nominal speed of 1,500 min-1. It has admissible peak speeds of 7,500 min-1 and a maximum torque of 200.0 Nm. Designed for convenience and ease of integration, this motor has an easy-service design that allows maintenance even during ongoing operation.
