The MAD100D-0250-SA-S2-AP0-05-N1 is a new-generation motor design that combines decades of experience from Bosch Rexroth Indramat and the latest motion technology available. The unit is enclosure in a thick metallic housing coated with a Black (RAL 9005) paint which is resistant to diluted acids, water, seawater and current mineral oil. The design provides an easy-to-service structure that reduces the overall number of maintenance operations required by this unit compared to other conventional motor designs. The cooling of the MAD100D-0250-SA-S2-AP0-05-N1 is ensured by the axial blower that is attached to its housing; for best performance of this cooling mechanism, the motor should be installed in a well-ventilated environment with an ambient temperature between 0 to about 40 degrees. The accumulation of dust and other foreign solids in this unit's housing should also be avoided.
