Ideal for servo and main spindle applications, the MAD100D-0200-SA-S2-BH0-05-N3 is a high-power density asynchronous motor by Bosch Rexroth. This type of motor features a squirrel-cage rotor and a ventilating fan for surface cooling. This model has a frame size of 100 with a length of D. It comes equipped with an axial fan which ensures efficient dissipation of heat. The axial fan is designed to use clean air from its environment to cool the motor. Overload damage is also prevented by the temperature control sensors integrated into the motor?s windings to monitor temperature. This motor has an IP 65 rating enabling use in poor environments since it is resistant to dust, water jets and other types of contaminants.
The motor comes equipped with a single-turn absolute encoder with EnDat2.1 interface. The unit also has electrical connectors on Side B of the motor to enable direct connection of power to the unit. The motor has flange mounting to facilitate installation. It is equipped with a standard bearing suited for low to medium axial loads. The motor has a plain output shaft which delivers a high degree of smooth running. The motors easy-to-service design means that it can be serviced without interrupting operations. The mounted axial fan can also be dismounted for maintenance and remounted.
