Product Description:

The MAD100D-0200-SA-M0-FG0-05-N1 is a servo motor that comes with a torque rating of 54 Nm and only supports the flange mounting option. This motor supports the EnDat 2.1 digital encoder interface for communicating with the master control module serially. This high-speed servo motor can be used for various applications, including operating conveyor belt systems, or even used for drilling and milling applications, where it can operate the drill spindle. To help with cooling the motor during such high-speed and high-power operation, the MAD100D-0200-SA-M0-FG0-05-N1 comes with a cooling fan that helps regulate ambient air within the motor housing to ensure the motor winding remains under the permissible operating temperature range.

The servo motor is compatible with flange and foot type mounting options, both of which are perfect for various types of applications. The flange type mounting has a compatible flange size of 114 mm that ensures the motor is mounted perfectly, keeping the body of the servo motor stable and perfectly aligned with the load, while the foot type mounting allows the motor to be mounted on a flat stable surface preferably on ground using four 8 mm screws. The maximum height for mounting allowed by the manufacturer is 1000 meters above sea level for efficient performance from the servo motor.

For accurate tracking of the servo shaft, the MAD100D-0200-SA-M0-FG0-05-N1 comes with a multiturn encoder of incremental configuration. This encoder has a resolution of 512 increments per rotation for up to 4096 revolutions. For every increment detected, the encoder generates a 5-volt square wave pulse signal that is then registered by the motor control module as an increment. For direction differentiation, the amplitude of the signal is used. Negative amplitude signifies the motor is rotating in clockwise direction, while positive square wave output pulse means the servo motor is rotating in counter-clockwise direction.
