The MAD100D-0150-SA-S2-LP0-35-N1 from Rexroth Indramat is an AC-powered servo motor. This servo motor comes with winding designation 0150 with a winding resistance of 0.36 ohms along with a winding inductance of 1.2 mH to ensure a smooth and spikes-free power supply connection to the copper coils in the motor, preventing internal arcing or causing the coil to heat up. Speaking of high temperatures, the main feature of the MAD series of servo motors is the inclusion of the axial blower fan that regulates the air inside the servo motor. This axial blower fan has a cooling airflow rate of 1000 m3 per hour allowing this servo motor to cool down quickly.
With the LP0 configuration in this motor, the MAD100D-0150-SA-S2-LP0-35-N1 features a shaft with a half-balanced key where a slot on the shaft of the key allows it to be locked onto the coupler of an external component that needs torque transmission, allowing for the motor to easily rotate the component without causing the attached component from slipping off or causing stress on the shaft of the motor by spreading the load on the shaft easily.
