MAD100D-0150-SA-S2-BG0-35-N1 can be used as a main-spindle motor or as a servo motor, depending on what is required. The motor is part of the Bosch Rexroth’s IndraDyn A line of asynchronous motors that have a extensive range of applications across various industries. The motors can be used with machine tools, packaging equipment, metal-forming machine tools, printing machines, and paper processing equipment, among others. The motor belongs to the MAD version, meaning that it is cooled by air through an attached fan and not cooled internally by a liquid.
The mass of the motor is 60 kg, and the rotor moment of inertia is 0.038 kgm2. The motor comes with a singleturn absolute encoder labeled S2 in the type code and has a power connection on the B-side. It contains standard deep-groove ball bearings for efficient performance, as with all IndraDyn A motors, and allows foot mounting and flange mounting for installation.
