The MAD100D-0100-SA-S2-KH0-05-N1 asynchronous motor variant is launched by Indramat Rexroth. The fundamental difference between a synchronous and asynchronous motor is that the speed of the rotor is relative to the speed of the stator. In synchronous, the difference is zero but in asynchronous motor, there is some lag between stator and rotor speed.
