The MAD100D-0100-SA-S2-EQ0-05-N1 motor from Bosch Rexroth in the IndraDyn A series that uses a cooling fan instead of liquid cooling to dissipate excess heat from the motor’s surface. The motor is a housed asynchronous motor that may be used in a variety of different applications across industries such as packaging, printing presses, machine tools, etc. The motor has a robust design and requires little to no maintenance when used in the right conditions. Moreover, the motor is versatile in that you can use the motor as a servo motor or as a main spindle motor as you see fit.
The product is a MAD version, meaning it uses an axial fan fitted to the motor to cool it during its operation. The size of the motor is marked as 100, and the length of the motor is marked D. The motor winding is 0100, and it uses a single-turn absolute encoder to provide information about the position and control of the motor. The motor can be installed using flange mounting as it is not built for foot mounting in any case. As the part name suggests via the letter ‘N’, the bearings used in the motor are standard.
