The MAD100C-0250-SA-S2-BG0-05-N1 is an asynchronous housing motor. It is an air-cooled housing motor designed to meet high-speed and torque applications for heavy loads. It is rated at a 2500 rpm and has a rated current of 27.8 Amperes. It also has a rated torque is 40 Nm. It can reach up to 11,000 RPMs and can produce a maximum torque of 91 Nm while consuming up to 64.3 Amps of current. The rated power is 10.47 Kilowatts. Featuring a sturdy design and casing, this motor has an IP65 protection class that allows it to withstand rough environments.

It features flanged type mounting with a detachable cooling fan. However, it is not allowed to use the motor without the fan. Using the motor without a running fan could lead to fatal motor damage. There is a 2048-periods absolute encoder which provides a speed measurement. It works on 7 to 12 Volts DC and generates a sinusoidal signal of 1 Vss.
