The MAD100C-0200-SA-C0-AK1-05-N1 is an AC servo motor by Rexroth from the MAD motor series with B05 construction. AC servo motors can be mounted in various ways. The mounting methods for AC motors determine their construction type. For Rexroth Bosch’s AC motors, the usual construction types are B05 and B35. The first construction type, B05, is for motors that support flange mounting. Depending on the intended application, motors with B05 construction can be of the IM B5, IM V1, or IM V3 designation. These designations differ only based on where the drive side is facing. On the other hand, motors with a B35 construction type may have the IM B3 or IM B5 installation designation. B35 motors use an additional bracket for mounting.
The MAD100C-0200-SA-C0-AK1-05-N1 features IP67 protection and class F insulation. Motors with IP 67 protection are water- and dust-proof. Meanwhile, motors with class F insulation are protected from extreme temperatures up to 155 degrees Celsius. Its integrated axial blower fans take care of the motor’s internal temperature during operation. Axial fans are usually mounted on side B, at the rear end of the motor. This motor model has a nominal speed of 2000 rpm and a C0 encoder type.
