The MAD100C-0150-SA-S2-BL0-05-N1 comes from a large range of housing motors produced by the Rexroth group. These motors are air-cooled and feature a flange-type mounting mechanism. They have a frame size of 100 which connects the motor to any external load. Because these motors undergo constant use, an axial cooling fan is used. The fan unit is detachable, but detachment is only advised for maintenance operation. It is prohibited to run the motor without the fan. This motor has a rated speed of 1500 revolutions per minute to ensure high torque and speed operations. The rated torque is 48 Nm. 

For feedback regarding motor speed, there is a single turn absolute rotary encoder that is integrated with the motor. It features the EnDat2.1 interface and can operate at voltages from 7 to 12 Volts. The encoder generates a 1 Vss Sinusoidal signal and goes through 2048 increments. The motor can be connected electrically either through a terminal box or a flanged socket. This motor has a B-side connection. The motor features a balanced half-key shaft.
