Air-cooled asynchronous motors in the MAD series are high power density motors suited for high-precision applications like machine tools, printing presses, packaging equipment, and more. Manufactured by Bosch Rexroth, the MAD100C-0150-SA-S2-AQ0-35-N3 is a robust model with a frame size of 100 with a length of C. It features a mounted axial fan that functions in surface cooling of the motor to prevent overload damage. The motor also has two PTC temperature sensors integrated into its windings to monitor and regulate temperature. This motor can be used in adverse environmental conditions since it is built to be resistant to solid and liquid contaminants such as dust and water jets per IP 65 protection requirements.
