Product Description:

The Rexroth MAD100C-0150-SA-S0-AP0-05-N1 is a 1500 rpm-rated asynchronous servo motor. This motor has a rated torque of 48 Nm and can provide a standstill torque of up to 50 Nm without moving from its position. This particular motor is designed to be used as a spindle motor used for drilling or CNC machines. It can also be used in industrial robotics as a servo motor due to the encoder attached to it. This motor comes with a 512-increment single absolute encoder that allows the motor to accurately move its shaft to the requested position by the control unit.

The Rexroth MAD100C-0150-SA-S0-AP0-05-N1 motor has size 100 and length C. The power and the encoder connectors of the motors are located on Side A of the motor which makes it easier to access. The motor also features an 400 volts Axial blower fan internally that allows the motor to cool down and can consume up to 100 watts of power. With the Thermal time constant of 30 minutes, it takes the motor up to 30 minutes to heat up when being used at full load. The Axial blower sucks the air from the B side of the motor and passes it out through side A which is the front.

The Rexroth MAD100C-0150-SA-S0-AP0-05-N1 motor does not feature a holding brake that causes the motor to come to an immediate stop once the power is cut off or a stop control signal is initiated. The motor has standard bearings that allow it to reach a maximum speed of 9000 rpm.
