Product Description:

The MAD100C-0150-SA-M2-AG1-05-N1 by Rexroth Bosch can be used in an explosive and harsh environment. The rotor and stator consist of silicon steel stampings, which are used to minimize losses from hysteresis and eddy currents. The current drawn into the stator is split into two components: the load component and the excitation component. This creates a circulating magnetic field, which drives the rotor. The speed of an induction motor is load-dependent; as the load increases, the speed decreases.

The MAD100C-0150-SA-M2-AG1-05-N1 has an M2 (multi-turn) encoder and a fixed axial blower. Gases and heat are transported using axial fans. The revolution of the rotor draws the air to be conveyed axially into the driving shaft of the fan. After passing through the rotor, the air is released axially behind it. Other electronic parts are used to regulate the axial fan's speed. The motor already has these control electronics permanently incorporated into them. The motor and impeller combination requires a suspension, which acts as a holding mechanism, and includes integrated contact protection.

The output of multiturn absolute encoder is distinctive for each shaft location at each turn, up to 2048 revolutions. Linear position feedback with a ball screw is one example of the application of a multiturn encoder. A certain number of rotations are used to achieve a specified linear motion. This encoder has a distinctive feature to measure the system's exact position even at power off, which is not possible with any other encoder. This is helpful for manually adjusting the system while the machine's main power is off. The motor receives current when the power cycle is activated. Upon applying current to the MAD motor, the electric holding brake releases itself automatically.
