Product Description:

The Rexroth MAD100C-0100-SA-S0-BH0-05-NR is a 1000 rpm Asynchronous servo motor with a continuous standstill torque of 54 Nm. This motor has a derating speed of 500 rpm and can attain a maximum speed of 6000 rpm without resistance to operation. The Rexroth MAD100C-0100-SA-S0-BH0-05-NR even though capable of reaching higher speeds has quiet operation and can produce noise up to 70 dB.

It is recommended to operate the motor in an environment with an ambient temperature of less than 40 degrees Celsius however the motor does feature an Axial blower fan that can help cool down the motor by allowing airflow from the rear of the motor to the front. The blower requires 480 Volts, 3 phases at 50 to 60 Hz frequency to operate draws around 0.12 amperes of current, and consumes a maximum power of 100 watts when in heavy duty mode. The flow rate of the blower is 230 m³/h providing plenty of cooling air for the internals of the motor.

This motor does not feature a holding clamp responsible for stopping the rotating shaft of the motor when no power is applied to the motor. The motor has dimensions of 537 mm x 208 mm x 208 mm and weighs approximately 70 kg. The power and the encoder connectors of this motor are placed on the top of the motor facing outwards towards the shaft allowing easy access. The motor features a single absolute encoder with 512 increments for accurate position control of the motor shaft. The motor encoder requires 5 volts DC to operate and uses 4 kHz of control signal for accurate measuring one complete rotation of the motor shaft.
