Part of the MAD flagship series from Rexroth Indramat, the MAD100C-0100-SA-M2-BQ0-05-N1 is a solid 50 Nm servo motor that comes with a frame of size C. This motor is designed for heavy industrial uses as it can spin at 1000 rpm when operating at nominal mode, all the way up to 6000 rpm at the maximum mode, making this a great option for drilling and milling applications as well.
The continuous standstill torque offered by this motor is around 54 Nm along with a low current draw of just 13.8 amperes making this entire option great for low power consumption. The power consumption rating of this motor is 5.2 kW while the torque constant ratio of this motor is 4.94 Nm per ampere of current, which marks the efficiency of this motor in providing high torque output by consuming less power. To operate this motor, use a 3-phase power supply that can provide up to 480 volts AC of supply voltage with a supply frequency of 50 to 60 Hz.
This motor comes with a multiturn absolute encoder required for tracking the shaft to the right position. The encoder uses the EnDat 2.1 digital encoder interface for serial communication between the servo motor and the compatible motor controller. To help ensure the servo motor remains cool during high-speed operation, this servo motor comes with an axial blower fan that helps create a channel within the motor housing to help cool down the motor coil.
