Bosch Rexroth manufactures the MAD100B-0250-SA-S2-AK1-05-N1 in their MAD series of asynchronous motors. This motor type offers high output data and dynamic performance as a main and servo drive in high-precision applications. The motor comes equipped with surface ventilation delivering a high overload capacity. This model has a mounted axial fan that enables the motor to withstand applications with extreme loads. The design of the motor is compact to suit different installation requirements and machine conditions. It has a flange mounting style for ease of installation and is equipped with Side A electrical connectors. The motor is versatile enough to be used in harsh environments since it is constructed with IP 65 protection against dust and moisture. The motor is also equipped with high-resolution motor feedback and comes with an integrated single-turn absolute encoder with EnDat2.1 interface. It is optimized for use in moist and dusty environments with a shaft sealing ring. This unit comes with an electrically released 24 Nm holding brake to ensure a safe standstill when the motor is switched off.
