Product Description:

The MAD100B-0250-SA-S2-AH1-05-N1 has all the best qualities you can ever ask for in an asynchronous servo motor and more. With its powerful set of ratings and unique features, this motor model is worth more than its market price. Although the MAD100B-0250-SA-S2-AH1-05-N1 has a relatively low torque output, its speed range makes up for it. Starting from a baseline speed of 2500 rpm, this motor can reach a maximum revolution speed of 9000 rpm. At the baseline speed, the torque transmits a mechanical torque equal to 25 Nm. For motors, the output torque is an essential parameter that quantifies the loading limitations of the motor. The corresponding power during this baseline operation is 6500 watts.

Another unique feature of the MAD100B-0250-SA-S2-AH1-05-N1 is its type-1 holding brake. Type-1 holding brakes are characterized by their maximum holding torque and speed of 24 Nm and 10000 rpm, respectively. The incorporated holding brake initiates holding action by releasing the brake at the receipt of a control signal. When the motor is running, this holding brake is disengaged to let the rotor move. At the application of a supply voltage, the brake is released to halt the rotor movement. During normal braking operation, the brake’s current and voltage are 1.1 A and 24 V, respectively.

Without considering the blocking brake, the rotor’s moment of inertia is 0.019 kg (m^2). The blocking brake itself has a moment of inertia of 0.000556 kg (m^2). For bodies in rotation, the moment of inertia is analogous to the mass. The higher the moment of inertia, the harder it is to make something rotate. Both the rotor and brake’s moment of inertia are essential parameters for kinetic energy and angular momentum calculations.
