The MAD100B-0250-SA-S2-AG1-05-N1 is an Air-Cooled Asynchronous housing motor designed to meet heavy-duty requirements in rugged industrial setups. This motor has a frame size of 100 and has a rated speed of 2500 revolutions per minute. For high speed and torque applications, this motor is a perfect option. There is a cooling fan to ensure that the motor doesn’t exceed temperature limits during operation and it is mandatory to use the fan at the run time. If the user does not use a fan to cool the motor, there could be fatal failures to the system as a whole.

The motor is mounted with a single turn absolute encoder that takes a supply voltage from 7 to 12 volts. It has an EnDat2.1 interface and has 2048 periods. The motor has A-sided mounting with deep groove fixed bearings. These are useful when the motor runs with externally coupled parts. The motor has a plain shaft without any sealing ring. This motor also features holding brakes which release electrically at 24 Nm. It mounts with the help of flanged-type mounting and has standard heavy-duty bearings.
